Subject: A Spark Makes A Fire. (Ember) Fri Jul 18, 2014 11:03 pm

Aola trotted through the woods. She had broken away from the rest of the wolves, now she could explore and feel free. While she was trotting she began to think about choices of a mate. She liked Siphon, but his personality was a bit... Angry. Sure he was calm sometimes, but only sometimes. The other two wolves seemed pretty aggressive, but she needed to really get to know them. She trotted and sniffed the air. She thought she smelled something. She shook her head and continued on. After a while she saw a glint of red. The river she heard of that was red wasn't far off, was it? It must've been that. But when she got to where she saw the red, she wasn't at the river yet. She continued though, trudging through the forest. When she reached the river she stared into its redness. It reminded her of fire, or the sun. She always loved fire for how warm and rare it was in the arctic. Usually her pack would find it after the humans were there. She sat down and lightly put her paws in the reddish brown water.

The red and white wolf made his way towards the river that he had been to many times before on his search to find his brother. Once coming into view his eyes shifted to a she-wolf who had her paws in the rusty colored water. "Hello.." he said as he stepped forward. "I'm Ember.." he called out as he came to a stop on the opposite side of the river. His tail waved from side to side, held low to the ground in a non aggressive manner.

Waiting for the she-wolf to reply he twitched his ears and looked to the sky before looking back to the white pelted female with gorgeous ice blue eyes.

Aola was deep in thought when she heard a friendly "Hello..." She slowly raised her head. She saw fire. At least that's what she thought she saw for a few seconds before she realized that it was a wolf. His name... Ember. It was what was left of some fires they found. She took a few seconds to stare at this male. He was handsome, perfect. She rose up and saw how friendly he was being. She couldn't help but be friendly too. He tail wagged slightly as she stood up. She quickly cleaned her paws before answering. "Hello Ember." She said as she raised her head," My name is Aola. What brings you to these lands? Might i warn you... The wolves here aren't the nicest." She got up and fluffed her fur a bit. She couldn't help it!

Ember watched the she-wolf and her flirty antics, something he enjoyed. "Nice to meet you," he called before turning on his paws and going a short distance back. He decided he was going to leap over the water. He was a good jumper and figured he's be able to make it. He went back far enough in order to reach full speed.

The male flicked his tail before running at full speed. When he was at the edge of the water he leaped, pushing off the ground and sending himself to the other side of the river. His forepaws touched ground as did his right foot and then his left foot by only a few centimeters. He shook out his pelt and then looked to Aola. "Hi." he said again with a smirk. "I'm here looking for my brother." he said before reclining back onto his haunches.

Aola smiled at this new wolf. He seemed nice. She near yelped in surprise when he jumped over the river. She was very impressed as he landed. She heard him say hi again. Looking for his brother... She knew she should take him to Siphon. She felt she needed him in the pack. She turned and lightly flicked her tail for him to follow. She gave him a flirtatious look and trotted as elegantly as she could into the forest. After a few moments she looked back and said, "Are you coming?"

He tilted his head curiously and watched her quietly. When she turned and asked if he was coming he smiled and trotted after her. "Yes, of course." he said wondering where they were going but he didn't ask. He trotted along side the she-wolf and looked around quietly. His ears flicked and twitched as they walked. "You don't smell much of those other wolves." he said. "How long have you been here?" he asked with a grin as he looked to her.

She turned her head to hear what he was saying. "Well, not too long. A few days, actually." She said thoughtfully. "Well, how long have you been here? You said your looking for your brother... What does he look like? Maybe he's here in the pack..." She said and took a small step closer to him so that there fur was lightly brushing together.

He looked to where their fur brushed and then looked to the female. "I've been in the territory for a few days and my brother is a black wolf. That's about it." he said before looking forward. "He's not the nicest of wolves either." Ember said flicking his tail. "We look nothing alike. I look more like my mother while he looks like our father." the brute said casting a glance to the white she-wolf.

Aola nodded at his words. Siphon was a black wolf, though it was unlikely that he was this nice wolves brother. She listened for a few seconds at the sound of leaves rustling. The wind was blowing through the tree tops, creating a pretty sound. She continued trotting along a bit before looking back to this other wolf. "What is your brother's name Ember?" She said it with her head slightly tilted. Just in case it really was the Alpha Male.

He flicked his ears and came to a stop. "My brother, his name is Siphon." he said, waving his tail from side to side. He gave a yawn and then tilted his head slightly. "Why do you ask?" the red and white brute asked flicking his tail. His blue eyes resting on her curiously.

Aola's eyes grew wide as she heard his words. She looked in front of her, the camp wasn't very far off. She could easily see it from here. When he asked why she looked up at him and said. "I think you've found your brother." before quickly running up a hill towards camp. She looked back and motioned for him to follow before trotting into camp.
