After the Hunt

Cinder continued to drag the elk with Kevin. She didn't stop until she reached the middle of the camp. She dropped the elk's head and sat by it. The black she-wolf took a breather.

Kevin let go of the elk his jaw feeling a bit weird. So he licked his nose and open and closed his jaw before looking toward Cinder. He dipped his head as a sign for departure after he spoke cooly, " I'll be back, going to cover our tracts no need for any predators to the camp." After speaking his tail signaled a good bye before he padded away. He began to cover the trail with his scent as he walked along the path. When he had finished he walked back toward Cinder and laid down with a sigh. "Know is Siphon is coming?" He asked Cinder before scanning the land.

"I don't know, Kevin. I guess he'll come when he's ready. He should smell this carcass from here." Cinder responded to Kevin and looked at him. She curled her tail around her left leg. Since she's a little bored, she decided to talk some more with him. "So... what is it like having your rank?"
